Quick tip: reordering projects in your collection
Better creator pages at itch.io » Devlog
This tip is crucial for the next layout idea I will be posting shortly but is also useful if you’re already using collections as categories on your creator’s page.
I thought that you can’t reorder items in a collection after it was added because if you go to your profile and open any collection, you won’t see any controls for that. I’m talking about pages like this one.
But if you visit My library page, you will see all your collections in rows, and if you hover over its items, two arrows will appear so you can reorder them:

You may already know it, but I’ve been for five years on itch.io and hadn’t :D

This inconsistency is a bit odd, but that’s good to know.
Unfortunately, the bottom-most libraries don’t show their content:
so in this case you need to force refresh them by adding/removing stuff on them to move them to the top of the list so the items appear and you can reorder them…
A button to force displaying items would be nice (I assume it’s a measure to avoid loading too many pictures at once)
Dang, I didn't even notice this. Well, technically I kind of forgot about it. Thanks!
I saw that, but it didn’t rearrange the products on my page. I’m a newbie. Is there a way to create different collections? That would help.
Oh wow this is news to me too. Great to know!
