Whimtale Tile Extractor

This small tool reads a Whimtale / Whimsy export and renders all the tiles (props, actors, and hero skins) into one tileset you can save as PNG. Use it for retrieving artwork from games you lost sources of, port graphics from project to project, and to migrate to another engine.

The tool works for all Whimtale editions and tile sizes, and also outputs animation frames and extracts a project's palette.

⚠️ Please don't use this tool to steal others' artwork — that's illegal and just rude! Make sure you have the rights to use the tiles, and ask the creator if in doubt.
